Mary J Blige - Ooh (J Dilla Remix)
I originally heard this remix back when Benji B had Ge-ology on his his show to do J Dilla Rarities Mix set in 2008. For some reason every track-listing I’ve found for that set doesn’t include this track even though you can clearly hear it starting at the 13:36 mark. I thought I had every J Dilla remix known to man. I couldn’t believe J Dilla had remixed a Mary J. Blige record when I found this last summer. You may remember “Ooh” off her Love & Life album from 2003. The remix is a rare white label but it can still be purchased on vinyl here & here. Absolutely love this remix and that’s Detroit producer Wajeed on the intro.
